Who are we?

Facilitators of Community Transformation (FACT), is a nonprofit humanitarian organisation that strives to promote community development for sustainable national growth in Malawi. FACT is working in various communities across the country.

The organisation has active programs in Lilongwe, Dowa, Dedza, Mangochi, Salima, and Mchinji districts and has a membership of over 30 organisations networking on health issues, 10 Members of parliament, and 300 community volunteers. The organisation was formed in the year 2012 by a team of five women advocates after identifying prevailing challenges that affected their communities.

Currently, the organization has an active secretariat of 12 full-time staff and three technical consultants, with its headquarters in Lilongwe, Area 18. The organization believes in gender and women empowerment as such a 50:50 staff representation policy was enforced to ensure gender equality.

FACT is a non-partisan organization and ensures that the voice of citizens in Malawi is heard by those in power that drives the society to equitable and sustainable national growth.
